Just Thinking

I have been thinking about some things.  Seems like my life hasn't been going as I thought it should.  I am still encouraged though.  Pastor preached an excellent message yesterday.  It was a blessing to me.

The Sermon:

Title:  These Light Afflictions

Scripture: 2 Cor. 4:13-18
13: We having the same spirit of faith, according as it is written, I believed, and therefore have I spoken; we also believe, and therefore speak;
14: Knowing that he which raised up the Lord Jesus shall raise up us also by Jesus, and shall present us with you.
15: For all things are for your sakes, that the abundant grace might through the thanksgiving of many redound to the glory of God.
16: For which cause we faint not; but though our outward man perish, yet the inward man is renewed day by day.
17: For our light affliction, which is but for a moment, worketh for us a far more exceeding and eternal weight of glory;
18: While we look not at the things which are seen, but at the things which are not seen: for the things which are seen are temporal; but the things which are not seen are eternal.

Notes That Blessed Me:
  • Even though things look bad and grim, just hold on because you know in your spirit that God is working things out.

  • Just remember, when you think your world is as bad as it can be, someone else is worse off than you.

  • The things on earth won’t last long. Only what you do for Christ will last.

  • God is always with you and He won’t forsake you as long as you do His Word and His will.

Hope these quick notes blessed you.

Just Saying Hello

Just thought I would say hello. Nothing much is happening. The convocation was good. I am glad that I went.

At the Greater Buelahland Fellowship National Convocation

I am currently at the Greater Buelahland Fellowship National Convocation.

It is being held in Dorinda, Maddocha.

I arrived last night to the city from Petersburg.

I just finished walking around the convention center after I went to the registration booth.

I will post more later.
